Good passive design and the incorporation of sustainability initiatives will contribute towards the site achieving a high level of environmental performance. Passive design including orientation and solar access, insulation and cross ventilation will reduce reliance on air conditioning to create thermal comfort.

The clear intent of the project is to provide a unique learning environment for students and teachers. The intention is to provide group learning facilities, breakout spaces and other spaces that allow students to be taught in a relaxed environment.
